The house is 3200 sq/ft 300 sq/m approx internally and has about 2700 sq/ft 250 sq/m approx external space, it is unseen from the street,& completely private and secure, the entrance and gate are deliberately unobtrusive so as not to reveal what is behind. Access, directly behind the gate, which opens up completely allowing access for kit including dollies, jibs, etc. and is covered, 6m x 2.5m approx, and secure, perfect for people and kit storage if it rains or house furniture, there is also power and water.;Access to the front gate is by fob and exit is by the door release located on the side of the cabinet. It is important to keep this gate closed whenever not in use or to have someone there at all times if it is open to prevent unauthorized access.
The ivy panels that are up against the wall are indicative of what you can achieve if hiring, as they're instant, you can cover the walls in a day and they transform the whole place, giving a wonderful feeling of sophisticated privacy, deep, dark green. There's obviously also bamboo and other instant covering that are available. The surround also makes for a great area to green screen later and have a Hollywood house in London, or looking out to sea or whatever else works...
The whole side of the ground floor opens up, seamlessly integrating inside and out, enabling wide shots if necessary and the easy removal of furniture, the Fineline doors have minimal frames and easy to slide and gets wonderful light all day and enable filming from the outside enlarging the space.
The front garden is a wild-flower meadow, wild and natural to juxtapose the clean, modern lines of the house. The back garden is a traditional grass lawn. There is also external lighting and a shed with power
The outside, decked dining area has a Morso pizza oven and fire has easy access from the kitchen and can accommodate a large dining table and chairs easily.
The house itself...
The ground floor has concrete floors throughout and is open plan, divided by furniture into a kitchen, dining and living area. It has a remote control fire place,&;recessed ceiling light zoned to wash across the living, kitchen / dining and playroom at the back individually. There is also a cloakroom. The remote controlled blinds are also zoned again to open or close the living, kitchen / dining and playroom.
The play room is designed as a play room for now, with feature NUD lighting, but to be adaptable and easily changeable into a snug or tv room later. The white blinds are perfect for a projector with sofa or Fatboy cushions or beanbags.
Off the playroom, the cloakroom;sanitary ware, as with the rest of the house, is exclusively Toto. It is designed to be a hands-free experience, the seat automatically raises, the heated seat is customised to your temperature, the washlet water temperature is again customised to your temperature and pressure. There's also a built in dryer, different settings for front, back or massaging operated by the remote control, it then automatically flushes, de-odorises and the seat closes automatically. Massively over-engineered and expensive. The basin is a patented custom product called Luminist, the tap has self-powered auto sensor.
The first floor has engineered oak floor and stairs, the corridor is designed to mirror the pool beneath. The bedrooms mirror each other exactly and both can fit double beds the sliding door enables filming through.
The family bathroom has a, red dot design award winner 2009, basin with light around drain and tap that changes colour, red for hot going to blue for cold another red dot design award winner 2010, bath with light around base, another red dot design award winner 2009, toilet with the same features as mentioned previously with remote control!
The master bedroom wardrobe has a natural sky-lit vanity unit on right hand side double doors and balcony. The en-suite has a Toto shower that greets you in any language you want with jets, adjustable power, etc another over-engineered toilet basin
The stairwell to basement is an amazing space, one of the most beautiful spaces in the house. Light floods down from the skylights, a large sculpture or light could hang down or a large mirror or piece of art on the back wall above the slate wall.
Study 1, with a great view up from the desk seeing the house, and study 2 open out to the lightwell, again a great storage for people, kit or furniture space, it could have some chairs and a table or use it as an extension of the gym to do yoga and provides a great way to film into the offices and gym. The sun hits it beautifully and the light reflects off the white wall.
The pool requires a fob to access, at the bottom of the stairs. The light switch is to the left of the glass doors. The doors have heated glass to avoid condensation. The pool is 1/4 olympic length and there is a Vola shower at the end.
The sauna control is behind the door of the changing room / en-suite.
Needless to say, the pool is a potential safety hazard. Please ensure the doors are closed at all times as it is important to maintain the temperature and humidity in the pool hall. Please also ensure all doors (spare room, gym, plant room and pool especially) are closed. The pool air is very humid and condensation will form if the doors are left open and damage electrical items and antiques. Pool shoes will be required if using the pool or travelling through it;
The spare room access the back light and stair well and is next to the changing room / en-suite. There's another toilet with same features mentioned above complete with it's own NUD Eddison eureka lighan another Toto shower, Luminist basin and self powered auto tap and a Dyson airblade to complete the changing room and hands free experience- no touch toilet, no door, no tap to turn on or off, no towel or hand dryer to touch.
The sliding door is for privacy and access to the micro gym. It has a 1m2 gym, all you need to exercise every muscle in your body you can hang upside down, inverting yourself to re-align your spine, perfect for core and muscle to weight ratio training, a Life Fitness commerncial running machine and Pro 5 Powerplate.
As I mentioned before, it opens up again onto the light and stair well, coming full circle...

The garden was designed, by gold medal award winning, and twice 'best in category' at Chelsea flower show, to be adapted, to be as simple or as complicated as you like, to frame the house and best utilise the space, relating the house to it's exterior, bringing the outside in and using the outside space to the best of its ability.
The Local authority is Camden, parking restrictions apply outside and the parking zone is CA-F. The council has given permits before and has previously been very accommodating.
There are multiple pay and display bays around the corner
Morrisons car park is often used as a base, it is less than 1 mile away
After 11:00am there is free parking close by
Kentish Town tube station, Camden and Chalk Farm are nearest centres. Kentish Town West is an overground station is also close. There are many buses around the corner which can link you to the whole of London.
Many fast food outlets close by, so no problem feeding cast or crew.
